Insaf Al-Saqaf

Director and actress Insaf Al-Saqaf was born in the city of Aden and is one of the first female directors in Yemen and the Gulf. She holds a diploma in acting and directing from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Aden and a master's degree in theater directing from Belarus.

Her first acting work on stage was in the play "Betrayal and Loyalty" in 1979, and her first directing work was the play "A Boat in the Forest" in 1981.

She has directed many plays, including: A Boat in the Forest, The Basement, A Mistake in My Life, A Marriage Proposal, Me and My Mother-in-Law, The Theater Manager, The Clothesline, and Abu al-Banat
