Awras Sultan

Dr. Awras Sultan was born in Aden in 1962 and holds a master's degree in pediatrics. Her father is the great writer and historian Sultan Naji, author of the book "The Military History of Yemen", one of the most important references on military history in Yemen.

She is one of the first women to reach Parliament, where she was a member for the 22nd electoral district in Khor Maksar Directorate, Aden Governorate from 2003 to 2009.

She passed away in 2015 after a fruitful journey of pioneering giving.
